« Version 0.40 | Main | Still here and moving forward »

I have finally finished fixing the problems with the changes to the battrick pages. This should all be working fine. If you do have any problems or come across anything out of the ordinary, then please let me know so that I can sort this out.

V0.41
1) Fixed a bug in the stats engine, where the number of games were not being calculated correctly if the player only
bowled in the 3rd or 4th innings, and as such the players bowling average was incorrect.
2) Fixed a bug where if Firstclass was selected for a BT20 game, it would cause the importer to get a little lost.
3) Fixed the bug where games other than FC that end in a TIE are now logged as a Tie and not as a draw any more.
4) Fixed a problem where some extended cyrillic characters were not being translated properly.
5) Added the MOTM to the Team Player stats page.
6) Built in some additional checks for the pavilion page.
7) Fixed the pavilion page such that if a user is not assigned to a FC league the import will still continue.
8) Fixed the squad import such that it now works with the new pages on battrick.
9) Fixed the player import such that it now works with the new pages on battrick.

Wow.. have to say that you have got great talent for creating this stuf... I'd like to learn how you write the scripts for running this program.

On the side note, do you know of any of place that would have templates for creating a cricket club website complete with mysql tables?

Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick

Unfortuantely I do not know of any place where there are some templates for creating a cricket club website. Perhaps if you ask on the battrick site, someone there might be able to help you out.

You need to go to File->Settings and put in the current season number. Then you will be able to import your pavilion.

Kane if you send me your db file, and the data that you are tryign to import, I will have a look to see what they problem is. Also if you can get me a screenshot of the error that would also help.

Have just started using this and have to say it's very well done!

One little thing that is annoying me though is every time I select a player or match from the list, my computer lets out a very loud beep, as though there's an error. I've turned off all the sounds in Windows and still get this beep every time. Is that intentional? Any suggestions?

No it is not normal. It should not be making that beep sound. I will look into the application to try and issolate why it does that. I get the feeling that it is a problem with windows and the way that I am manipulating the data that is causing the beeping sound. I will look into it more and see what I can find.

Thanks for that - I appreciate the amount of time you must have already spent developing this.

If it helps, I'm using Windows Vista.

ok well AtStumps was never designed to handle a FC game with just one innings. If you can email me your DB file, I will have a look at it, and see what I can do.
